ACECUBE StudioAI-Augmented Game Production

Re-engineering how
games get built.

We take proven games, run them through an AI production pipeline, and move them onto new platforms and global markets.

Elite full-stack engineers vertically integrate engine · server · content · operations inside a single team.

Not a typical game studio.

ACECUBE is a company that redesigns game production systems. An engineering house that has built and operated MMORPG, action, RTS and strategy simulation titles on PC, console and mobile — our AI integration starts from field experience.

The result is a production density large studios struggle to match — fast iteration, a minimal gap between design and implementation, and DevOps and live service architecture handled directly by ACECUBE.

01

Deep Engine Heritage

Client engine, server, tooling, content pipeline, live service — we have covered the full cycle, launch and the operations that follow, across every genre. Not a team that borrows someone else's engine, but a team that has built one.

02

AI as Production Multiplier

We do not confine AI to art or text generation. Balance review, QA, narrative checks and data validation are built into the pipeline — so one engineer finishes what used to take a team.

03

Compact Team, Same Page

A concentrated team communicates precisely. Designers and server engineers speak the same language, and decisions turn into implementation immediately. No handoff delay, no lost context.

Engine ╳ Server, led in parallel.

The person who built the engine and the person who built the server stand on the same stage. Thirty years of engine work, twenty years of server work — two CTOs, each accountable for their domain end to end.

Engine architect with 30 years in the field. Designer of the RF Online R3 Engine and the Zerodin Engine.

An engine architect who has been writing game code since 1994. At CCR he designed and led the R3 Engine behind the MMORPG RF Online, work that won the Korea Game Awards. He then founded Zerodin Games, built the Zerodin Engine himself, and led a mobile RPG lineup running on that proprietary engine. At Wemade XR he handled server optimization and stabilization for Legend of Ymir and Unreal engine optimization for Icarus M. In April 2026 he joined the launch of Acecube, where he directs the new lineup.

Godius Remaster

Godius Remaster — engine · server · ops, every layer rebuilt.

A Korean 2D MMORPG of the 2000s returns — this time worldwide, on Steam.

A global Steam remaster of Godius, the 2D MMORPG that has run in Korea since its launch in 2000. The original 800×600, 256-color, fullscreen-only DIB renderer is replaced by a D3D11 9-pass GPU pipeline with windowed and resizable support, and every layer above it is built new — in-house ImGui editor, automated multi-language UI, Steam integration and web ops tooling.

The goal: keep the original assets fully compatible while raising lighting, water, particles, post-processing and hit feel to modern engine standards.

Render7
  • D3D11 9-Pass GPU Pipeline — Original 800×600 256-color fullscreen DIB → shader-based true color with windowed / resizable modes. Separate passes for background / water / sprite / lightmap / Additive / post / particle / UI
  • Full Lighting System — Lightmap (1/4 RT multiply) + Additive Light (GPU additive) + Floor-Only (Occluder Mask) + Player Light, pool-based, up to 256 lights
  • 24-Hour Day/Night Cycle — Real-time sync on UTC, 10-band ambient Lerp, indoor maps skipped automatically
  • Water Rendering — Diamond clipping + two-stage shader (overlay / refraction + caustics) + 512-tile batching. Six presets: River / Ocean / Swamp / Lava / Ice
  • Wind System — Vertex-shader sway with anchored roots (bottom 25%). Tree / Grass / Flag types, stored per object in .meta
  • Environment Particles — Seven presets — Rain / Snow / Fog / StormRain / StormFog / Firefly / Blizzard — 32 emitters × 2,000 particles
  • Post-Processing — Bloom (separable Gaussian, 2-pass) + 3D LUT color grading (6 presets) + context-driven vignette
Editor3
  • In-House ImGui Editor — GcX.exe -editor — offline map editing with no server dependency, 4 tabs (Map / Lighting / Environment / Effects), hot reload + Undo/Redo
  • Data-Driven Workflow — Every visual parameter externalized to .env.meta / .lgt / .lightpreset and similar files. Original assets (.fld/.sou/.fgp) preserved losslessly
  • Magic / Enhancement Effect Editor — Lighting presets for 36+ spells by element (fire / ice / neutral / dark / holy), with per-tier editing of enhancement effects
Feel2
  • Combat Visual Feedback — Screen Shake / Damage Numbers / Hit Flash / Hit Freeze externalized to combat_feedback.ini, simulated inside the editor
  • Client-Side Move Prediction + Slide Correction — Movement starts the moment input lands, server sync runs in the background. Hotfix for floor-tile sliding in live online conditions
Resolution2
  • DPI-Aware 4K Rendering — No dependence on OS DPI scaling; automatic scaling against the monitor's physical pixels (1080p 1.0x / 1440p 1.33x / 2160p 2.0x)
  • UI Scaling + Font Re-Render — Fonts re-rendered at final pixel size instead of upscaling UI bitmaps, outline/shadow kept in physical pixels, MainHUD anchor policy preserved
L10N2
  • Automated UI Localization — 418 .spr files with Korean text baked in → text extracted and composited at runtime through SafeBox / RichText for automatic multi-language support
  • Automatic Overflow Detection — Full static and runtime sweep for UI overflow candidates caused by length differences between English and Korean strings
Pipeline2
  • pak Packaging System — 30,477 files / 757 MiB → base.pak plus cumulative updates (00000.pak …) sealed in 50 MiB units, SHA256 integrity
  • Map Load Optimization — Package-mode entry time 15s → 8.9s (Phase 1) → further phases in progress. Driven by four-stage measurement

Performance · Stress-Tested

Measured under load, not marketed.

The number that matters: 1,000 characters, each with different appearance and gear, rendered on one screen at an average of 53fps. CrowdLOD rendering (exact up close, proxy at distance) and SPR pool optimization raised 1000-player FPS roughly 6× over the first measurement (8.4→53) and cut memory to about a third (1.8GB→695MB). All 21 full cases passed.
